Stitch Haven is operated by May May's Crochets. These terms govern your use of the service. By using Stitch Haven, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Stitch Haven is a personal organization tool for crocheters and knitters with free and paid Premium tiers. It helps you save pattern links, organize collections, and track projects.
Stitch Haven helps you organize links to third-party patterns; it does not sell or distribute those patterns, which belong to their original creators.
Subscriptions and Billing
Free and Premium Tiers
Stitch Haven offers a free tier with capacity limits and a Premium tier with unlimited projects and Smart Imports.
Billing and Cancellation
Premium automatically renews monthly until canceled. Current pricing is displayed during checkout and in your account settings. Stripe processes payments; Stitch Haven does not receive or store your full card number but keeps the identifiers and subscription details needed to manage Premium access.
You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals and keep Premium access through the current billing period. We don't provide prorated refunds for that period. If a payment cannot be completed, your account may return to the free tier; you can resubscribe at any time.
Your Account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Stitch Haven. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Share content that violates others' intellectual property rights
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
Your Content
We don't claim ownership of your content. You give us permission to store, process, and display it as needed to provide Stitch Haven, including displaying content you choose to make public.
You're responsible for the content you save or share, including pattern links, images, and photos, and for having the right to use it. Do not save or share illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
Smart Import
If you use Smart Import, you confirm that you have the right to submit the pattern text for your personal use. See our Privacy Policy for information about how that text is processed.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe public content on Stitch Haven infringes your copyright, contact maymayscrochets@gmail.com and identify the work, the content in question, and where it appears. We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms or others' rights.
Service Availability
Stitch Haven is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability and may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, May May's Crochets is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, projects, or patterns, resulting from your use of or inability to use Stitch Haven.
Service Changes and Account Closure
We may change or discontinue features and may suspend or discontinue the service. We can't guarantee advance notice or data retrieval in every circumstance.
You can stop using Stitch Haven and delete your account at any time. Account deletion removes your account and associated data from active systems. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or could harm other users or the service.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Virginia law. If you have a dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms by posting changes here and updating the date above.
