Frequently asked questions
What makes Stitch Haven different?
We're a focused tool for pattern organization and project tracking. Save links to patterns from anywhere (not just one database), track projects with built-in row and stitch counters, and organize everything in Pinterest-style collections (see an example!) โ all in your own personal workspace. Simple forms, focused features โ just a clean tool built for how crafters actually work.
Who built this?
Hi! I'm May from May May's Crochets, a crocheter and software engineer. I got tired of patterns scattered across bookmarks, Pinterest, and project tracking docs that never connected. I built Stitch Haven to solve my own organizational chaos. As someone who crafts myself and knows how to build reliable tools, I'm excited to keep improving it based on real user feedback.
Do patterns live in Stitch Haven?
Nope! We only save links to patterns - the actual patterns stay wherever you found them. Every time you open a pattern, you go directly to the source. We're here to help you organize, while supporting pattern designers.
Is this a social network?
Not yet - we're focused on personal organization first. Everything is private by default, though you can share individual collections publicly if you want. We might explore social features in the future, but for now, this is your personal craft hub.
How much does it cost?
You can save patterns, organize collections, and track up to 25 projects completely free. For unlimited projects, or if you want to support development, a Premium subscription is available for $3/month.
